The Firehouse is a Lomita landmark that has been in existence in one form or another since 1961. Previously named The Firehouse Hide-A-Way it gets its current name and theme from previous owner Al Rich, who worked for the Los Angeles City Fire Department. He and his wife Kay purchased the bar in 1979. Although Al passed away in 1990, “Miss Kay” continued to own and operate the Firehouse Hide-A-Way until 2002. The current owners Marshall and Lynn are committed to making the Firehouse bigger and better than it has ever been before. They are hands-on owners who know everyone, love to throw a party and truly care about their customers, employees and community.
It is the quintessential neighborhood bar “where everyone knows your name”. Whether you are hanging out with the old-timers during the day or the youngers at night, if you spend any time here at all you are going to run into someone you know.
We are a beer and wine bar, but can also pour just about any cocktail of choice using our house vodka, tequila and rum. We have a great selection of specialty draft and bottle beers that are very affordable.
The Firehouse is located at 24123 Narbonne Ave. directly across the street from the Lomita City Hall building. You can’t miss the landmark Firehouse 20ft neon sign, especially at night.
You won’t find a colder beer in town or warmer service. It’s always a good time at the Firehouse whether you’re 21 or 101. We have live entertainment on weekends and free barbecues every Sunday (Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays during football season). If you like sports bars without the corporate sports bar prices then the Firehouse is your new bar. We have 6 big screens all in HD, 2 pool tables, video golf and poker, beer pong, outdoor smoker’s patio, surround sound internet jukebox, karaoke every Thursday and lots of cool customers! Come on down and hang out with us today!
Happy hour is Monday – Friday from 4 to 8 and Sunday nights (6pm – 1:30 am)
Wear your Firehouse T-shirt and get any beer of your choice for only $1.00! 1st beer only though!
